Shuif Hussain, Chairman / CEO

A prominent entrepreneur, with significant investment expertise in the Leisure, Hospitality and Real Estate sectors. Shuif has been a principal sponsor of SIAHAF since 2009. He also heads up a private Family Office set up to look after the interests of the beneficiaries of a Family Trust.

The Family Office has invested across a wide variety of Asset Classes including direct investments in Leisure, Hospitality, Oil and Gas and property interests in the UK and Asia- leveraging his network of Anglo-Asian contacts.

Shuif has many years of investment experience and sits on the boards of Funds and Companies where the Family Office have taken substantial positions.

Anthony Kan, Deputy CEO / CFO

A qualified chartered accountant with almost 30 years’ experience in real estate finance. After qualifying in 1985, Anthony became a partner in a small London firm of accountants before joining a private construction company operating in Malaysia, Brunei and the UK.

In 2006, he joined AAFM – a Brunei Family Office set up to look after the interests of the beneficiaries of a Family Trust- as finance director, where he worked alongside Shuif Hussain. Anthony is now deputy CEO and CFO.

Nam D. Bui, Investments

Nam has over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking and investments with some of the largest Bulge Bracket Firms. He has worked in all the major money center cities, including New York City, Hong Kong, and London, and has been involved in transactions well over US$30bn.

More recently, since 2007, Nam has been active in real estate financing and development in Vietnam. Nam has extensive experience financing all property asset classes, from greenfield, brownfield to mature yielding assets looking for more optimal financing options. Additionally, Nam has worked on all facets of development, from design and master plan development to sales and marketing to development of monetization/exit strategies for operating yield  assets, and has significant experience working with institutional/financial investors.

Within the UK, Nam advised a bidder on the successful financing for a very large urban residential master plan development in the Midlands.

Alistair Weir, COO

Alistair is the Managing Director of Jeakins Weir Limited since 1999 having joined the family business in 1992. Jeakins Weir is a medium sized family company based in the Midlands started by Alistair’s father in 1973.

Over the past 45 years, JW has been involved in the construction of houses, factories, schools and public buildings.  It is presently completing a 110 mid-priced family homes development in Oakham in the Midlands

With over 25 years in UK construction,  Alistair  is well placed to drive SIAHAF’s property development ambitions forward.

Sunny Wang, Head - Project Delivery

Sunny joined SIAHAF in 2015 after attining his MSc Real Estate Development. He is our head of project delivery.

Between 2011 and 2013, Sunny served as senior project manager for Samsung Construction & Trading in South Korea. He was responsible for a theme park development project covering 720 hectares (7.2 sq km) consisting of 7 theme parks, 6 hotels with retail, dining and entertainment venues.

From 2002 to 2010, he worked in South Korea and the US on a number of substantial residential and mixed-use projects, successfully completing development projects such as the Marriott Executive Hotel and Apartment project consists 390 high-end mixed-use units, 34 floor twin tower GFA 76,033m2, estimated GDV of 260 million USD.

Mo Mannan, Head - Retirement Living Development Group

Mo Mannan has been involved in the retirement living space for 10 years as a corporate advisor and more recently chief executive of Rangeford Holdings; an innovative developer / operator of retirement living schemes in the UK. Mo started his career in banking where he first became involved in the financing of healthcare  business in 1995. He became chief operating officer for a specialist healthcare business during 2001 – 2005. He subsequently lead the corporate advisory services of the healthcare team of Colliers International until 2015. he was CEO of Rangeford from Feb 2015 – Mar 2017, when the business was sold.
