SHUIF HUSSAIN, CHAIRMAN
Shuif Hussain in a prominent entrepreneur, with significant investment expertise in the Leisure, Hospitality and Real Estate sectors. Shuif has been a principal sponsor of SIAHAF since 2009. He also heads up a private Family Office set up to look after the interests of the beneficiaries of a Family Trust.
The Family Office has invested across a wide variety of Asset Classes including direct investments in Leisure, Hospitality, Oil and Gas and property interests in the UK and Asia- leveraging his network of Anglo-Asian contacts. Shuif has many years of investment experience and sits on the boards of Funds and Companies where the Family Office have taken substantial positions.close
JOHNNY SANDELSON, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Johnny Sandelson is an entrepreneur and award-winning real estate developer. Johnny has been at the helm of a multitude of high profile property ventures across the UK. Since co-founding SIAHAF in 2009 with Shuif Hussain, Johnny has been responsible for acquiring and developing some two million square feet of real estate. These include the headline-grabbing purchase of the iconic Whiteley’s shopping centre and most of adjacent Queensway.
Prior to SIAHAF, Johnny pioneered the concept of selling hotel rooms individually and built a substantial London business selling more than 400 rooms in five hotels. The venture led to his nomination as the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
DAVID MEAGHER, COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
David Meagher specialises in sourcing, structuring and financing property deals in the UK and European markets.
Before joining SIAHAF, David ran his own property and investment business specialising in high value residential developments in central London. He led acquisition and structuring of a luxury £100m residential development near Harrods in Knightsbridge.
Previously, David worked for AIB Capital Markets where his primary role was assessing opportunities in lending/underwriting and lead arranging in the European LBO market.
David trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in Dublin.close
ANTHONY KAN, FINANCE DIRECTOR
Anthony Kan is a qualified chartered accountant with almost 30 years’ experience in real estate finance. After qualifying in 1985, Anthony became a partner in a small London firm of accountants before joining a private construction company operating in Malaysia, Brunei and the UK.
In 2006, he joined AAFM – a Brunei Family Office set up to look after the interests of the beneficiaries of a Family Trust- as finance director, where he worked alongside Shuif Hussain. Anthony now heads the finance department at SIAHAF.close
